Community Field Trip!

2nd grade had a great Community Field Trip! We so appreciate everyone who helped us learning about different places and jobs in our community.
We learned what a State Trooper's car looks like and what he does. Thank you State Trooper Shives.

We mailed letters to some of our teachers at PDS! We also got to go into the mailroom and see where the mail goes once inserted into a slot!

The Cleveland Fire Department was so great! Thank you Mr. Jackson for telling us about the three types of fire trucks and for showing us what all each one does!

Thank you Mr. Sledge for showing us around Planter's Bank!  The drive-thru window and the way a bank works was so interesting, and of course we all love our little happies and the popcorn!

Chik-Fil-A was definitely worth a little wait! Thank you DSU for accommodating so many kiddos and adults and for the yummy food and adorable little cows! EAT MORE CHICKEN! MOO MOO!! 🐄🐄🐄

The Planetarium at DSU is open again! It was absolutely spectacular and we are the first group of students to get to come since they reopened! We definitely recommend this to others!  It was a wonderful experience!

**Be sure to watch the papers in October for Planetarium Events open to the public!

We learned a lot about our community and had tons of fun. Thank you to the Moms and Dads who helped drive and take care of the kids!
